Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has warned his Liverpool teammates that one slip up could be “fatal” as they battle it out with Manchester City for the Premier League title in an interview.
His words, “In a moment like this, calmness is very important,” “Concentration, too — to be aware that one error could be fatal.
“A defeat could define the entire season. Every game is important; things change to so quickly, especially in the Premier League which has such a high level of quality.
“Every team, even the bottom side, cause trouble to the top teams at home. Bournemouth beat Chelsea 4-0. Everyone has quality so you really need to be switched on all the time.”
Liverpool are fighting to win England’s top flight for the first time since 1990. In the 2013-14 season, they came close before a late season collapse saw them pipped to the post by City.
