Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has come out to offer support to Romelu Lukaku amid his current struggles. Recall that the Belgian only touched the ball seven times against Crystal Palace, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, now is not the time to laugh at Lukaku because it is the duty of the club to protect their prized asset during this period.
Tuchel added that strikers sometimes lack confidence in spells but the class forwards come out of it eventually.
His words, “It’s not the time to laugh about him, he is our player and we will protect him.”
“What can I do? I don’t know. Well, we have to deal with it,”
“The data is out there and speaks the language that he wasn’t in our game.”
