Manx Telecom First to Use Monolith Software's AssureNow Solution to Deliver Service Assurance for LTE

RICHARDSON, TX–(Marketwired – Jun 3, 2014) –  Monolith Software, the leading provider of next generation, unified service assurance solutions, and its partner Eirteic today announced the first deployment of its AssureNow LTE service assurance solution. The AssureNow solution has been deployed at Manx Telecom to manage and monitor their entire network, unifying operations and workflows across all technologies, domains, and services.

As the leading communications solutions provider on the Isle of Man, Manx Telecom provides a wide range of fixed line, broadband, mobile and data centre services over multiple service platforms alongside its own IT operations environment. This makes front end service management a critical objective. In a shift towards a service-focus rather than a siloed approach, Manx Telecom needed a unified view of its infrastructure and services, a view that Monolith Software could provide at a lower total cost of ownership than they had achieved in the past.

“We need to rapidly deploy and monitor new services such as LTE,” said Kevin Paige, CTO at Manx Telecom. “The AssureNow solution allows us to monitor and manage our products and services efficiently by providing a unified view of infrastructure and services which enables us to correlate service events across many different platforms. This supports us in providing a better level of service to our customers and we can quickly match resources to demand and quickly trouble-shoot issues. Monolith also provides Manx Telecom with an industry leading service management capability, providing a single, scalable and expandable management platform for our Service Operations team.”

“We now have experience installing Monolith AssureNow in more than a dozen companies worldwide,” said Patrick Buttimer, CEO of Eirteic. “In all cases the total cost of ownership has been significantly reduced and the time to deploy new services such as 4G LTE has been considerably improved.”

They will showcase the AssureNow platform highlighting the ability to unify, simplify and transform service-oriented operations for new and existing services, improvements in customer experience, and the opportunity for immediate and long-term cost savings.
