Ex Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has urged Anthony Martial to utilize his potential to the best of his ability after the French winger had an underwhelming last season.
Martial was one of few United players to play very well during the first half of the 2018/19 season, scoring in five consecutive Premier League matches before Mourinho got fired.
After a decent run of games when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was interim manager, he got just 2 league goals after the turn of the year and lost his spot in the team.
Jose said, “He [Martial] is a boy with a different personality. The thing I can say is that I hope he will reach a level that is as good as his real potential.”
Reports have it that Ole would be pleased to get rid of Martial this summer, but Manchester United co-chairman Joel Glazer has rejected any exit for the former Monaco star.
