The entourage of Kylian Mbappe has defended the forward after criticism in Spain over a trip to Sardinia during his injury recovery. Recall that the Real Madrid forward recently travelled while sidelined, prompting debate about his professionalism ahead of a key La Liga clash with Barcelona.
Reacting via a press statement, Mbappe‘s representatives defended the player’s conduct during his recovery period, stressing that people are misinterpreting the elements related to the Frenchman’s recovery period.

The reps concluded by saying that Kylian remains committed to giving his all for Real Madrid football club.
The reps said, “Some of the criticism stems from an overinterpretation of elements related to a recovery period strictly managed by the club, without reflecting the reality of Kylian’s daily commitment and work for the team.”
Alvaro Arbeloa added, “Each player does what he sees fit in his free time, it’s not my business. We didn’t build Real Madrid with players who wear tuxedos, but with players who finish the match with their shirts covered in sweat and mud, thanks to their effort, sacrifice, and consistency.”
