Kylian Mbappe has become a victim of the greatest enemy in football, Jorge Valdano has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Mbappe leaving his country and comfort zone for the first time in his career have led to huge process of anxiety for the footballer, and that is the greatest enemy for players.

Jorge added that the fact that football is culturally important in Spain makes matters worse for him.
His words, “It’s a question of adaptation. Mbappe left his country, France, for the first time and that took him sociologically out of his comfort zone. This may have led to a process of anxiety, and anxiety is the great enemy of the footballer.
In France, football is not as culturally important as it is here in Spain. This can be seen simply on the television channel DAZN, which has perhaps 100,000 to 200,000 subscribers in France. Real Madrid, on the other hand, is not only the news leader on Sundays but also on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.”
