President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in China on a week-long official visit.
Buhari left Nigeria on Sunday, April 10, 2016, and is expected to sign off on a loan facility for the country during his visit.
According to presidential media aide, Femi Adesina, Buhari’s trip to China is aimed at securing greater support from Beijing for the development of Nigeria’s infrastructure.
Chinese News Agency, CCTV has said that President Buhari is expected to borrow $2 billion from China but this amount has not been confirmed by the Nigerian Presidency.
