President Muhammadu Buhari is set to travel to Germany on Thursday, October 13, for an official visit.
This was disclosed via a statement released by Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
The statement reads in part:
“In furtherance of the administration’s objective to attract more foreign investment and create economic opportunities in the country, President Buhari will participate in a Business Forum in Berlin with leading German companies already active in Nigeria and other prospective investors.”
“Before returning to Abuja, the president is expected to meet with representatives of the Nigerian community in Germany.”
Buhari will be accompanied by Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima and Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha among others.
The president will expectedly return on Saturday, October 15.
