My Improved Form Is Largely Down To Rosenior – Joao Pedro

Chelsea striker Joao Pedro has attributed his explosive recent improvement at Chelsea to the guidance of Liam Rosenior. This comes following the manager’s bold claims that the forward now rivals the likes of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.

Reacting, his frequent office meetings with Rosenior have prevented him from becoming complacent in recent times, so he is grateful to his manager for his improvement.

Pedro added that his good form is largely down to his beneficial conversations with his coach.

His words, “When the new manager arrived, he told me that he already knew who I was and wanted to help me develop. That’s something I like to hear from a coach because without that feedback, it’s easy to become complacent. I’m a player who always wants to improve, to reach my highest potential level. I also think that my form is largely down to those conversations, him showing that he genuinely wants to help me improve. When you feel that support from your manager, you naturally push yourself harder.”
