President Muhammadu Buhari has praised Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State after he was named the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Buhari, in a statement by Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, in Abuja on Thursday, said it has shown his fellow politicians have proper confidence in him.
He then begged the new chairman to see his new position as a chance to unite with FG and other tiers of government for the betterment of Nigeria.
His words, “The focal objective of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum at all times ought to be the higher interest of the people of this country above partisan, political, religious or regional differences.”
