    Nigeria COVID-19 Case Update – 499 New Cases confirmed, 689 Deaths and 30748 Total Cases as of 9th July 2020

    Four Hundred and Ninety-Nine (499) new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

    The new cases reported are as follows:

    Lagos: 157
    Edo: 59
    Ondo: 56
    Oyo: 31
    Akwa Ibom: 22
    Borno: 21
    Plateau: 19
    Kaduna: 18
    Katsina: 18
    Bayelsa: 17
    FCT Abuja: 17
    Delta: 14
    Kano: 11
    Rivers: 10
    Enugu: 8
    Ogun: 6
    Kwara: 4
    Imo: 3
    Nasarawa: 2
    Osun: 2
    Abia: 1
    Ekiti: 1
    Niger: 1
    Yobe: 1

    Currently, there are 30748 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 689 deaths. However, 12546 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
