Nollywood cum bi-lingual actor Jibola Dabo has shown interest in going into politic in 2015.
    .
Although he is yet to disclose the party he is looking to join, the award-winning actor told HVP that the passion he has for Nigerian youths inspired his decision to delve into politics. He’s planning to vie for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives.
    .
The Owo-born actor who has organised series of empowerment programmes for the youths said, his dream is to improve the lifestyle of his people. He has also given scholarships to many youths especially in his home town, Owo-Ose in Ondo State.
    .
‘’You don’t need to acquire all the wealth in this world before you decide to assist the less privileged. I was just empowering the youths on my own, unknown to me that the youths are taking records of events and during my recent visit to my home town, many of them confronted me with a request to represent the town at the federal level,’’ he said.
    .
Jibola who lamented that his political ambition has hindered him from hitting movie locations said, he was still consulting with his people, adding ‘’My acting career has taken me to places but I want to do more things to better the lives of my people.’’ He was the recipient of 2010 Zuma Best Actor award.
