Popular Nigerian comedian, Ali Baba has come out to speak about the factors driving many Nigerians to seek opportunities abroad. He recently had his say while speaking on the Outside The Box podcast, and Nigerians have been reacting.
According to him, living conditions in Nigeria compared with those living abroad is clearly different because in other countries, children often attend public schools with reliable transportation, thereby reducing educational expenses.
Ali Baba added that the need for personal security measures and domestic staff is also lessened due to more efficient public services, unlike kidnappings and police harassment in this part of the world.
His words, “What is the security for children? Will anybody kidnap two of his children and come and say bring money? No. When the children graduate what are the chances that they would find work there and what are the chances that they would find work here?”
