The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, on Friday in Abuja has begged Nigerians, irrespective of where their political loyalties lie, to back the agenda of the 2nd term of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said this at a Public lecture and Juma’at Special Prayers held at the National Mosque, organised by the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
He urged the people to respect democracy.
His words, ”I believe that all Nigerians will like to participate very peacefully and efficiently to ensure that government achieves peace, progress and security for the country.”
The Sultan also begged all Muslims to seize the period of Ramadan to pray for improved peace, progress and development of the country.
