The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has refuted reports claiming that it has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (diesel).
Olufemi Soneye, NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, issued a statement on Wednesday dismissing the rumors as false.
Soneye urged Nigerians to disregard the reports, emphasizing that NNPC has not made any price adjustments for PMS and diesel at its retail stations nationwide.

He reiterated NNPC’s commitment to maintaining the current sufficiency in petroleum products supply across all its retail stations in the country.
The statement serves to clarify the misinformation circulating and to reassure the public of NNPC’s dedication to providing uninterrupted fuel supply.
