There will be no military coup in Nigeria, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has informed the federal government, but more political coups are to be expected.
Primate Ayodele said in a statement sent by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, that a military coup in the country was futile since God had canceled it.
He predicted that a military coup would be forgotten over time but that a revolution would be remembered forever.
Ayodele said that the revolution might be viewed as a political coup, in which voters will remove from power anyone who fails to deliver as promised.
The prophet urged the federal government to put aside concerns about a coup and instead work tirelessly on behalf of the good people of Nigeria.
He added that state administrations are equally susceptible to the political coup.
”Nobody, ever, ever again will be able to successfully sponsor or plot a military coup in Nigeria. Only a political coup involving the people of Nigeria rejecting a candidate they don’t like through the ballot box is possible.
”There is a revolution happening across Africa, and Nigeria is not immune; however, unlike other countries, the change in power in Nigeria will occur peacefully through democratic means. It will be carried out by regular individuals as opposed to military officers. They have the power to remove from office anyone who fails to deliver, and they will vigorously resist any attempt to interfere with the electoral process.
Aside from this, there is no reason to worry; a military coup in Nigeria is impossible since God has cancelled it. If you’re not a good person, you won’t be in power for long in the country if the revolution I envisage happens.
I urge the federal and state governments not to worry about a coup because it is highly unlikely to occur. If they don’t start working for the good of Nigerians, this revolution will eat them alive.
Primate Ayodele has said that Nigeria has the potential to control Africa, but that the country’s weak leadership has caused it to fall from prominence.
“If our problem is bad leaders who are possessed by satanic forces, then Nigeria has all it takes to rule Africa now and in the future,” says a Nigerian politician.
