NSCDC Osun State Command Decorates 746 Newly Promoted Officers

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command, has decorated 746 newly promoted officers in a ceremony held at the command’s headquarters in Osogbo.

In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, Adeleke Kehinde, and obtained by the media on Saturday, the Commandant of NSCDC Osun State, Agboola Sunday, described the promotion as a recognition of excellence, dedication, hard work, loyalty, and discipline.

Commandant Agboola urged the newly promoted officers to consider their promotion as a milestone in their careers and to continue to uphold the values of the NSCDC.

He commended the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for approving the promotions, acknowledging their significant contributions to the Corps.

Addressing the newly promoted officers, Commandant Agboola emphasized the importance of selflessness in their duties and urged them to redouble their efforts in combating crime to ensure the safety of the people of Osun State.

He also encouraged those who did not receive promotions in this exercise to remain dedicated and hopeful, assuring them that their efforts would be recognized in due course.

Air Vice Marshal A.I Amodu of the Nigerian Air Force Research and Development Centre, Osogbo, delivered a goodwill message, urging the promoted officers to demonstrate increased dedication and commitment as their performance would determine future promotions.
