President Muhammadu Buhari is mourning with the family of former Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, over the death of the patriarch of the family, Obi Chukuka Okonjo, at 91.
Obi Chukuka was a professor of Mathematics, University administrator, international consultant and traditional ruler.
According to a statement by the Presidential aide, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja yesterday, the President mourned with the government and people of Delta State over the passing of the traditional leader.
He even condoled with the academia, the Umu Obi Obahai Royal Family of Ogwashi-Uku, friends and professional colleagues of the late scholar.
He said the brave man dedicated his life to teaching, research and service of humanity.
