The House of Representatives has said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo remains the father of corruption in Nigeria.
The House issued this statement in response to Obasanjo’s comment saying that allocating funds for constituency project is a form of corruption.
According to the House Committee Chairman on Media and Public Affairs, Abdulrazak Namdas, the former President has made attacking the National Assembly his hobby.
He said “We won’t respond to any corruption allegations by Obasanjo against us anymore.
“We have replied him enough and our position remains what we said earlier. It has not changed.
“I refer you to our comprehensive position on Obasanjo in 2016. That is still our position.”
