Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has urged his supporters to remain steadfast and intensify efforts to ensure victory in Saturday’s governorship election.
Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, made the appeal on Thursday in Akure during an interactive session organized by the Special Engagement Committee of the APC National Campaign Council.
The governor cautioned against complacency, emphasizing the need for continued mobilisation in the remaining hours before the election.

“We have only one agenda ahead of us: to deliver victory on Saturday. We have campaigned across the state and listened to the plights of the people,” Aiyedatiwa stated.
“Let us go back to our communities and continue the work. We must not be complacent; there is still work to be done, and we must finish strong for ultimate victory.
Just this morning, eight governorship candidates declared support for us, which shows the people are with us,” he added.
Aiyedatiwa reassured supporters that, if elected, he would fulfill his promises to drive the state’s development and address the needs of its residents.
Radda: Task is Mobilisation
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, who chairs the Special Engagement Committee, urged committee members to galvanize supporters and stakeholders to ensure the APC’s success in the poll.
He emphasized the importance of the final stretch, describing it as critical to delivering the desired outcome.
The Ondo governorship election is expected to be a keenly contested race, with Aiyedatiwa banking on his campaign outreach and strategic alliances to secure a second term.
