OTIASAH CONDEMNS KILLINGS IN ABONNEMA

The Care taker committee (C.T.C) chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Mr. Christian Otiasah has condemned in very strong terms the killings by some unidentified gun-men in BE-DONE Hotel in Abonnema, the local government headquarters.
He made the condemnation, during his visit to the hotel premises, and called on the security agencies in the area to fish out the culprits, and ensure that they are brought to book.

It will be recalled that some unidentified gun-men stormed the hotel premises during the weekend, and shot sporadically at unsuspecting customers in the hotel, which left two dead and several others  injured.
Earlier, speaking on behalf of the chiefs and people of Abonnema Community, Chief Broadfield Michael Jack, the spokes person of the Abonnema Council of chiefs, called on both the Government and Security Agencies to beef up Security in the area as to ensure the safety of lives and property.
