    PDP Chairmanship Race: South-West Leaders adopt Prof Adeniran as a Sole Candidate

    In a move to create a smooth ride for a candidate from the South-West geopolitical zone to emerge the National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the ongoing convention of the party; South-West leaders have adopted Prof Tunde Adeniran, the former Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany as a consensus candidate while others stepped down.

    The meeting for the adoption of Prof Adeniran was convened by Sen Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. The following communique was issued after the meeting:
