President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to Ghana on Saturday, January 7, 2017, to attend the inauguration ceremony of President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo.
This was disclosed by Special Adviser to Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, via a statement released on Friday, January 6.
According to the statement, Buhari would join other Heads of State and Government to witness the swearing-in of Akufo-Addo and Vice President-elect, Mahamudu Bawumia.
The president will return to Abuja at the end of the inauguration ceremonies.
