The Police Service Commission has clarified that it has not officially announced any date for the examination of applicants in the ongoing recruitment of Nigerian youths into the Constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force.
In a statement by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, the Commission advised applicants to disregard any dates circulating on social media.
Ani emphasized that the Commission will officially announce the examination date at the appropriate time and notify successful applicants from the screening exercise.

Furthermore, the Commission directed the Police Cyber-crime Unit to investigate the source of the trending publication and swiftly apprehend the culprits for prosecution.
Prospective applicants were urged to ignore any communication or updates on the ongoing recruitment exercise that are not officially issued by the Commission through its recognized media platforms.
The statement advised applicants to be patient and await the Commission’s official statement on the examination date, which will also be communicated to shortlisted candidates who were successful in the screening exercise.
The Commission reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the recruitment exercise is not exploited or diluted by criminal elements who continue to devise different strategies to defraud innocent Nigerian youths.
