
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari returned to the country yesterday, after receiving medical attention in London, United kingdom.
President Buhari had left the country on May 7, 2017, after handing over power to Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina; President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a nationwide broadcast by 7:00 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017.
Mr. Adesina said the President thanked all Nigerians who have prayed ceaselessly for his recovery and well-being since the beginning of his health challenge.
