Ronaldo Called Me A Poet Because I Speak From The Heart – Ruben Amorim

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has come out to share why Cristiano Ronaldo once referred to him as a poet. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Ronaldo called him a poet because he likes to speak from the heart, and it was only a nickname he gave him for fun.

Amorim added that people have often told him they genuinely feel a connection with his words, so he understands such sentiments.

His words, “Yeah. But it’s like a funny thing because I like to speak – not too much – but when I speak, I think I speak from the heart. I think people feel that. It was something just to have fun.”

Ahead of the 2009–10 season, Ronaldo joined Real Madrid for a world record transfer fee at the time of £80 million (€94 million). His contract, which ran until 2015, was worth €11 million per year and contained a €1 billion buy-out clause.
