    R/S GOVERNMENT TO HONOUR CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS

    The Rivers State Government is set to honour some outstanding companies for their contribution to the economic growth and social stability of the State.
    This was disclosed by the Rivers State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Chuma Chinye in his office today in Port Harcourt while inaugurating a five member committee to handle the corporate award programme.

    Mr. Chinye in his speech noted that the task before the committee is to plan and successfully organize a corporate awards programme to distinguished cooperate organization in the State.
    The terms of reference of the committee include determining the criteria for selection of companies for the award and raising fund for the successful execution among others.
    Members of the committee are Ms Mediline Tador, General Manager Radio Rivers who is Chairman, Mrs. Elizabeth Obulo Secretary, Mrs. Gina Daka, Mr. Ogolo Michael and Moses Harry members.
    He advised the committee members to work with humility to serve the best interest of all and show transparency in carrying out their activities.
    Responding, the Chairman of the committee, Ms. Mediline Tador, who is also the General Manager, Radio Rivers 99.1FM Port Harcourt, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Hon. Commissioner for the initiative.
    She assured the Commissioner that members of the committee will use their professional skills to make the corporate award a great success.
