The flyover bridge and road construction embarked upon by the Ogun State Government in Sabo, Sagamu Local Government Area of the State will be completed by May 2014. This was disclosed by the Project Manager, Personal Works Nigeria Ltd,[PW], Engineer Kazeem Olabode while speaking with journalists at site affirming that it was PW that was handling the construction of the road and the flyover bridge.
According to Engineer Olabode, “construction works s on the flyover and the road has reached 70% completion meaning that the project will be ready by May 2014. The flyover bridge which is already in use only needs some finishing touches while road construction is at asphalt laying stage
In his reaction, a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) , Mr. Wasiu Dauda said the construction of the road has brought great improvement on his business while a student of Remo Division High school, Sagamu Miss Oyedele Opeyemi advised youths to take a cue from the leadership quality Senator Ibikunle Amosun most especially in the aspect of road construction.
Speaking in the same light, Mrs Ukoma Blessing, a trader at the Sabo market expressed joy saying that she now has increased sales due to the expansion of the road.
