Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick has come out to say that Nigeria will not beg Bukayo Saka or any other player to represent the Super Eagles.
He recently revealed that the team is already blessed with talents all across the pitch and there is no need to urge foreign footballers to be a part of it.
According to him, however, if any of the foreign players desire to play for Nigeria, he would instantly be given an opportunity in the team.
He added that Saka is definitely an excellent prospect in football but will only be given the chance in the squad if he is very interested.
His words, “Saka is an excellent prospect but we have other players in his position who are playing so well,”
“We have talents everywhere so we won’t beg people to play for Nigeria. It is about ardour and fervour, If it’s their desire and they merit it, they’ll be given a chance to represent Nigeria.”
