    TOKYO, Japan, January 27, 2014/African Press Organization (APO)/ — 1. Japan deeply deplores the bombings that occurred outside the Police Headquarters in central Cairo, capital of Egypt and near the metro station in Dokki district, Giza prefecture, west of Cairo on the early morning of January 24th (the afternoon of January 24th Japan time) and caused casualty. Japan prays for the deceased people and expresses its condolences to their families. And Japan extends its heartfelt sympathy to those injured.

    2. Acts of terrorism cannot be justified for any reason, and Japan firmly condemns terrorism in all its forms.

    3. Japan hopes that public security in Egypt will be stabilized promptly and that a political process moves forward in a way that includes a wide range of Egyptian people.
