Ciara is puting smile on faces this Christmas by collaborating with the Why Not You Foundation and Amazon to shock patients at the Seattle Children’s hospital.
She did not do it alone. Fellow musician, Preston Pohl from “The Voice” and Seattle Children’s chief executive officer, Dr. Jeff Sperring, also joined her to meet and greet with families during the holiday season.
“Visiting Seattle Children’s is a family affair for us,” Ciara shared with the families. “And, visiting during the holidays and spending time with everyone here is truly one of my favourite times of the year.”
The amazing singer got everyone dancing and grooving as she sang some of her classics including “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, “Silent Night,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”.
After flaunting her smooth vocals during the group performance, the “Goodies” musician wandered around the halls to visit children who were unable to leave their rooms.
“You guys really are the superheroes, I want you all to know that,” she told the kids.
2019 celebrates the 33-year-old’s second surprise holiday visit to the hospital. In 2017, Ciara was joined by fellow artist and friend, Kelly Rowland.
The Why Not You Foundation was founded in 2014 by Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, with plans to “creating real and lasting change in the world by motivating, empowering and preparing today’s youth to be tomorrow’s leaders”.
