    VP Sambo grieves over Isaiah Balat’s demise, commiserates with family.

    Nigeria’s Vice President, Mohammed Namadi Sambo has described as shocking and deep sense of loss, the sudden demise of Isaiah Balat (Senator) recently.

    While expressing his grief, he indicated that the Senator was a great politician who has been reckoned as working to stabilise the Nigerian polity through his numerous contributions and selfless service to the nation. He commiserated with members of his family over his painful death, saying they should take heart as  though they love him, God loved him more.

    Namadi Sambo also indicated that Isaiah Balat would be greatly missed by the Presidency as well as Kaduna State and Nigerians generally. He prayed for the repose of his soul and for his family to have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

    Until his death, Isaiah Balat was a former Senator and the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President. He was also once a cabinet Minister in Nigeria.
