The Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has taken back its threat to stop the conduct of the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.
Kanu agreed to make peace at a meeting organised by the Ala-Igbo International Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, held in Owerri, Imo State.
With deliberations still continuing, leader of the foundation, Professor Uzodinma Nwala, said Kanu has promised Igbo leaders that IPOB will not disturb the November 18 governorship election.
Eligible voters have been told to to go out and exercise their civic duty without fear of violence.
