    Which is most popular among Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney Plus?

    Netflix vs Amazon Prime Video vs Disney Plus: Streaming services are all about convenience these days, whether it comes to streaming content like movies and TV shows, to even music and games.

    As smartphones and tablets are growing in popularity, streaming services have also seen an uptick in interest.

    A new survey has revealed that over half, or 57 percent, of Indian users, have access to one or more streaming services.

    The survey also revealed that the most widely used service across 18 countries where the survey was carried out; was Netflix, followed by Disney Plus and Amazon Prime Video.

    The survey was conducted by Finder; which was in turn based on a Google survey that was reportedly conducted across 18 countries, as reported by the Indian Express.

    In a clear sign that interest in streaming services in the country has grown, the survey found that Netflix was used by over 26 percent of respondents; while Amazon Prime Video is in second place in India with nearly 19 percent of users stating they have subscribed to it.

    In third place is Disney Plus, with 17 percent of respondents have signed up for the service; followed closely by JioTV with a 14.73 percent share.

    Alt Balaji is a distant fourth with only 3.5 percent of the respondents stating they use the service.

    The survey reveals that when it comes to content, Netflix has made 40 of the most popular shows available for Indian subscribers; which places it in the 14th spot, while Canada heads the list with the most shows available.

    In terms of gender distribution, the survey revealed that 55.93 of the respondents were women who admitted to streaming movies and TV shows using these platforms; out of which 26.69% of them said that they used Netflix while responding to the survey.

    Older users between the ages of 35 to 44 and 45 to 54 also saw around 25 percent of the respondents vote in favour of Netflix, however, respondents in the age group of 55-64 preferred to use Disney Plus, the survey reveals.
