The Zamfara State Security Trust Fund (ZSTF) has announced its plans to raise funds for the purchase of weapons, operational vehicles, and other logistical support for security agencies in the fight against terrorism.
The Chairman of the organization and former Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammad Dahiru Abubakar, made this known during the commissioning of the Security Trust Fund in Gusau.
Abubakar emphasized that security is a collective responsibility, urging everyone to join forces to combat banditry in the state.

He highlighted the importance of the Trust Fund in providing financial support for injured security operatives and their families, ensuring their welfare and boosting their morale.
He stated, “We should not leave the issue of security on the shoulders of the security operatives and government alone.”
Abubakar also appealed to residents to support the Trust Fund to achieve its objectives and enhance security operations in Zamfara State.
