    5 Policemen, 3 Others Murdered In Suicide Car Bomb In Borno State

    Suspected Boko Haram members in Volkswagen Golf cars Tuesday rammed into a patrol vehicle of the Police in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, killing five policemen, three civilians and injuring others.
    .
    The terrorists also lost their lives in the blast.
    .
    The incident Vanguard gathered happened near Dalori Housing Estate in the town.
    .
    Our correspondent gathered that immediately after the blast men of the 7 Division, Nigerian Army, a combined team of mobile policemen and vigilante youths a.k.a Civilian JTF mobilized to the scene of the blasts and cordoned off the area to prevent further attacks.

    A police Public Relations Officer,DSP Gideon Jubrin confirmed the incident to our Correspondent on phone, pointing out that five policemen attached to the federal highway patrol team, three civilians including the suicide bombers died on the spot.
