Abia State Governor Alex Otti has invited four members of the Abia State Super Falcons to his country residence in the Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.
Governor Otti, his wife Pricilla, and a few of his aides hosted the four Falcons, and the governor and his wife lauded the women for their extraordinary bravery and patriotism during the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup, which was held in Australia and New Zealand.
The governor of Abia praised the Falcons’ performance, saying that the players had become role models for young people in Abia and Nigeria.

Honored Falcons were Isiala Ngwa South LGA native Glory Ogbonna, Isuikwuato native Christy Ucheibe, Uzuakoli, Bende LGA native Uchenna Kanu, and Esther Okoronkwo.
The footballers, who were the center of attention at the governor’s mansion, were grateful for the hospitality extended to them by Governor Otti and the state of Abia.
