Facebook Inc. has disabled the personal accounts of a group of New York University researchers studying political ads on the social network; claiming they are scraping data in violation of the company’s terms of service. Google announced Monday it will build its own smartphone processor; called Google Tensor, that will power its new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones this fall. Armed bandits have attacked a General Hospital within the Dansadau community in the Maru local government area of Zamfara State. The attack which took place in the early hours of Friday led to the abduction of a health worker and one other individual. Gunmen have abducted the wife of a Commissioner for Land and Survey in Benue State, Bernard Unenge. Operatives attached to the Imo State Police Command have killed two bandits in an attempt to attack a town in the state. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Michael Abattam, confirmed that the incident occurred in Njaba Local Government Area of the state at about 1:20 on Saturday morning. Microsoft is in advanced talks to invest in Indian budget hotel chain Oyo, a source familiar confirmed. The size of the deal is not known, but the SoftBank-backed hotel start-up is valued at about $9 billion.
