Twelve farmers have been reportedly killed and nine others injured by suspected bandits in Magami and Mayaba communities in Gusau local government area of Zamfara State. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, announced the suspension in a statement issued by his office in Abuja. A school attendant has been released few hours after some gunmen hijacked a school bus and abducted the staff of the private school, on Thursday morning in Ondo State.
