Sokoto State Government has released N155 million for the construction of Women Development Centres in all the 23 local government areas of the state. Hajiya Kulu Abdullahi, Commissioner of Women Affairs, said at a media briefing on Thursday in Sokoto that the money was released to various contractors handling the project.
