The new airport built by the Bauchi State Government has been named after the first Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. Gov. Isa Yuguda made this known to newsmen on Friday, shortly after he landed at the airport to assess preparations for its inauguration by President Goodluck Jonathan on March 29. Gunmen recently invaded a secondary school in Awhire-Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, kidnapping two teachers and one engineer attached to a contracting firm working in the community. A 34-year-old man was yesterday caught with 120 grammes of heroin hidden in his anus at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, (MMIA) Lagos.
