Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have nabbed a trader and an apprentice for ingesting 132 wraps of cocaine weighing 2.7kilogramme. The suspects were apprehended at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, while returning from Kenya. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has explained why some states in the country have not been able to pay workers’ salaries. According to the lender’s Economic Report for the month of April, the total statutory allocation to the state governments stood at N153.45 billion in April 2015.
