Nigerians have for long complained about getting unsolicited text messages from network service providers. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), in a move to stop this has now said it would not hesitate to penalize network providers that failed to keep its regulation on unsolicited messages to subscribers. The Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Wednesday, said that 22,000 Nigerian graduates benefited from the Federal Government’s Graduate Internship Programme. In a statement issued in Abuja by her Special Assistant, Paul Nwabuikwu, the minister said the programme was meant to increase the employability of the graduates by enhancing their skills. “The scheme targets up to 50,000 unemployed graduates in the 36 states of the federation and FCT.
