Following the scrapping of the Ministry of Capital City Development and the splitting of the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development, and the Ministry of Energy, Bayelsa State Governor, Mr. Seriake Dickson has sacked two commissioners from the state executive council. The affected commissioners are James Dugo (Local Government and Community Development) and Barrister Zuwa Konugha (Capital City Development). The Federal Government on Friday inaugurated a technical committee on grazing reserves in Nigeria. According to the government, the committee would work out modalities for establishing additional grazing reserves across the country to forestall future clashes between herdsmen and farmers. The sum of six billion naira has been set aside for the execution of the ongoing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane project in Warri, Delta State.
