Gov. Umaru Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has called on the Federal Government to review the military operation in the state to guide against civilian casualties. The new smart national identity card is in compliance with the security recommendations and standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and could be used as travel document.
