Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has come out to say that the club has no intention of selling midfielder, Frenkie de Jong. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Catalans do not want to sell De Jong this summer, and he is also very confident that the Dutchman wants to remain at the Camp Nou.
Laporta added that there is a current salary issue, but he will do everything he can to keep De Jong at the club.
His words, “There are several clubs that want him.”
“But we have no intention of selling him.”
“He wants to stay.”
“I am going to do what is in my power to make him stay.”
“But it is also a salary issue and it would have to be adjusted.”
