Barcelona boss, Ernesto Valverde is of the opinion that Manchester United “have something special at the end of games” ahead of the UCL quarterfinal second leg clash at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona currently have a 1-0 lead from the first leg at Old Trafford, but Valverde is insisting that the tie is far from over.
On if Dembele will start the game, he said, “It will be important who starts but also those that end the game, because Manchester United have something special at the end of matches.
“Manchester United have won three of four [Champions League] away games this season, and we have to be careful. The first leg result is not definitive.”
On Manchester United, “Their spirit — also the power and pace they have in their side. If you give them space, they’re quick and efficient.
“We respect what they have done, what they are and the history they have behind them.”
Barca goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen has also said Man Utd should expect a different Barcelona in the second leg.
His words, “The good thing is we play differently to PSG,”
“But of course United are very dangerous.
“The result from the first leg is equally dangerous because it’s only a small advantage. We have to keep the ball, as we always do, because that’s how we play and how we understand the game.
“United have really quick players. It will be difficult. You saw that in the first leg. They made things tough for us.
“We want to go out and dominate from the start but, when we have to defend, we have to defend like we did at Old Trafford. We want to show that we’re superior.”
