Sports couple, Bastian Schweinsteiger and tennis star, Ana Ivanovic continued their fairy tale wedding with another ceremony.
A day later they had a more lavish wedding ceremony at the Misericordia Church, also in Venice.
The Manchester United footballer chose a black tuxedo for the church wedding with a matching bow tie.
29-year-old Ana wore a strapless bridal gown which showed off her marvelous figure.
The wedding ceremonies come after Schweinsteiger had competed in the 2016 Euro with Germany. The couple chose a modest setting for the first wedding ceremony which was just a simple process.
For that ceremony, the Manchester United midfielder chose to don a dapper navy suit while Ivanovic looked elegant in a white dress.
The couple was all smiles as they were pictured as they left Venice City Hall-also known as the Palazzo Cavalli -hand in hand.
Ivanovic’s parents, Mirsolav and Dragana were at the wedding. Schweinsteiger’s father, Alfred, and older brother, Tobias, were also in attendance.
31-year-old midfielder and Ivanovic on Monday, July 11 travelled to Venice by boat ahead of the wedding.
The couple was seen relaxing and enjoying the view at the back of the boat. They had travelled to Venice by private jet from Munich with close friends and family.
Schweinsteiger and Ivanonic had told their friends to keep the dates from July 11 to 13 for their wedding ceremony.
