WILMINGTON, NC–(Marketwired – July 25, 2014) – On the June 26, 2014 episode of Cape Fear Seniors Radio, host Tom Pechar interviewed entrepreneur Julie Thomas, CEO and Founder of DocsInk, to learn about their services and how they help physicians communicate with each other more effectively.

DocsInk is a simple platform for charge capture and community engagement designed for healthcare organizations. It operates on a website dashboard as well as via a mobile application. DocsInk solves the revenue cycle issues for physicians and connects distant providers, regardless of their current technology and affiliation, on a platform that allows mobile communication.

“Care coordination is one of the most important aspects needed for both patients and physicians today,” said Thomas.

As Founder and CEO, Thomas sees the power and need for having all medical professionals be able to speak to one another on all care coordination levels. DocsInk allows instant communication through HIPAA-compliant secure text messaging, connecting practice providers, referral networks, and staff.

Thomas provided this example:  A patient has just left the hospital after surgery. The surgeon can bill the patient while simultaneously updating the primary care physician on the patient’s health post-surgery. It is all done at no cost to the patient.
