The Boko Haram sect said on Monday it carried out the abduction of over 100 female students of Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, last month.
The girls are still believed to be missing, prompting widespread criticism of the Federal Government, the BBC reports.
“I abducted your girls”, the BBC quoted Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, as saying in a video obtained by the AFP news agency. (BBC/AFP)
